The Outlook Forecaster. Before commencing what is I hope a useful and enlightening journey through future trends, I feel I ought to give some explanations as to what astrology really is and how I arrive at the interpretations which follow.
Before reading this report, I want you to understand that astrology is not a bit of harmless ‘fun’, nor does it belong to the realms of superstition and the paranormal. Astrology is a science, albeit a science with apparently strange ideas quite outside the scope of what is considered to be ‘normal’. Yet, it should not be judged until it’s doctrine has been fully explored and understood. One should bear in mind that psychology, hypnosis, chiropractic, osteopathy and others were once considered as best belonging to the lunatic fringe. Now we know better. On the other hand, just because something is widely accepted does not mean that it is valid. I quote the example of the Flat Earth Theory, once generally believed to be the ‘truth’. Again, we now know better.
Astrology is a system that uses the apparent correlation existing between planetary positions at a specific point in time and the psychological traits and events in a person’s life. Every moment in time is different, some are more important than others - your birth time being the most important. Using the analogy of a photograph may help explain. A photograph captures not only a person or a scene on film, it also captures the moment in time when it was taken. The snapshot is unique in that it can never be taken again at that point in time. Whenever we look at the picture it has more than just visual impact, it brings back memories and stimulates our imagination. Astrology is very similar. An astrological chart - or horoscope - is a ‘snapshot’ of the heavens at a point in time, a ‘picture’ of the heavens which directs the mind of the trained astrologer along specific lines and enables him to arrive at conclusions. Like a photograph, your chart captures a moment in time which is unique to you which subsequently reveals the inherent potential contained therein.
But how can a planet countless millions of miles away from the Earth have an effect on a human life or influence his destiny? The answer is - they do not! The planets do not cause things to happen nor do they exert some strange influence as some believe. If you consider the analogy of a clock, things will become clear. The hands of the clock help you tell the time by their position. In astrology, the ‘hands’ become planets, and as each planet has specific meanings, so it is possible to ‘read’ the chart using what we astrologers call The Doctrine of Correspondences. This is an ancient system of classifying everything that exists - be this character traits, events or even physical objects - according to the type of consciousness responsible for its creation and existence. It is in fact a huge ‘filing cabinet’ using the planets as significators of precise types of consciousness. For example: The Sun is taken to represent the need to be, to exist, to live. It also represents who and what you are as an individual, as well as your self-expression, confidence, and general success. This, in turn, is modified by the Sign and House in which the Sun is placed together with aspects from other planets to give a unique assessment of your Solar characteristics and potential. So it is with all of the remaining planets.
There is a great deal of difference between the popular conception of astrology, as exhibited in ‘Sun-sign’ readings given in newspapers and magazines, and the real thing. In this country we have around 60 million inhabitants and if we divide this by the 12 Signs of the Zodiac there ought to be around 5 million people who are, say, Aquarians. It is therefore plainly quite absurd for every Aquarian to have exactly the same things happen to them on a particular day. Naturally, this gives the critics lots of ammunition. No self-respecting astrologer would subscribe to this fallacy because they realise astrology considers the whole person, the Sun-sign being only one factor among many.
Likewise, no credence is given to ‘lucky’ numbers, gemstones, so-called karmic forces, past lives, etc., as these are considered to be speculative or belonging to the realms of superstition.
This document is an Outlook Forecaster containing large amounts of specific and detailed interpretations which have been individually compiled for you. To get the maximum advantage from your purchase it is important that you take your time reading and absorbing the information contained in its pages.
Interpretations of your future are based on the use of four distinct astrological techniques.
Solar Return chart. Your Solar Return chart which is calculated for the exact time your Sun returns to its birth position. This is an excellent chart for deducing the overall picture for the year ahead.
The forecast is divided into two distinct parts. In part 1 we deal with your Solar Return. In Part 2, we deal with the planetary movements forming aspects to planets and Angles within your own chart. [Transits. Progressions & Directions]. For convenience they are given in date order. For each aspect formed you will see a description of the planets involved followed by the date when it reaches exactness and so maximum effect. These dates should not be taken as absolute for a variety of reasons. After this comes an indication of the likely strength of the aspect. Please don't take this literally as it is only an approximate guide. To date, no wholly accurate method of assessing planetary strength has been developed, the best we can do is approximate. I use just three indicators: Weak, Moderate & Strong. Events usually occur at or near the exact date, but due to the vagaries of the Cosmos they can occur at any time during the period when the aspect is in force.
I should stress that the traits given in this document are possibilities, not necessarily actualities. I have given the most likely traits based on astrological reasoning and what appears to be the most likely for you as an individual out of the many possibilities which exist.
To begin. Some Astrologers consider it good practice to concentrate only on the good traits, ignoring any difficulties in an attempt to paint a rosy picture. In my estimation this is quite wrong. Far better to give the whole picture rather than expose the client to unforeseen problems which could make the situation worse, so I hope you will excuse my frankness.
Most Astrological reports contain contradictions, or appear to do so. The reality is that contradictions occur almost all the time in our lives but we don't see them as such, instead we experience them as alternations in conditions, behavioural patterns or feelings. I mention this because there are instances here of such contradictions, both in your birth chart and in your future trends.
Your Future Trends. In general. Hello Helen.
With the range of birth times times given I can’t be absolutely certain as to which House the Sun, Mars, and Neptune reside in, so I will make allowances for this in my report.
The first thing I notice about the current chart is that the planets lie in two opposing groups, indicating decisions to be made that are not easy due to uncertainty. Also, your personal needs are to some extent in conflict with others so that you may have to seek compromise against a background that keeps changing. Trying to find a balance between your needs and the requirements of others is not going to be easy for a while.
At the moment, Pluto is making an aspect to your Sun, bringing in the winds of change, some of which seem to be fundamental. All is not as it seems to be. What I need to impress on you is that Pluto can be quite revolutionary, trying to change your life by removing part of the past in order to make room for something new. Ordinarily, this would be a good thing, but in this case you could be heading for difficulties that are not going to be easy to live with. More on this later.
Finances. Birth chart: This is ruled by the Sign of Gemini an the planet Mercury.
The placing of this Sign on your 2nd House suggests an intelligent approach to financial matters with a great deal of thinking being brought into play. You ought to have some good ideas, and you can certainly adapt quickly to changing scenarios and gain as a result. Ideas can so easily be turned into money and your communication skills ought to stand you in good stead as well. The only problem here is one of acting too quickly, changing your mind often, or making assumptions rather than establishing the full facts.
I cannot be certain if Mars lies in your 2nd House or not, but if it does you will put a lot of effort and enthusiasm into earning money and are not afraid of hard work. You also show initiative, being able to generate income as and when you need it, taking advantage of any opportunities that come your way, and taking risks if necessary. You earn quickly, and you spend freely.However, money matters would be subject to ups and downs with occasional periods of strife. You may tend to be a little rash with money, acting on impulse, spending too freely and not considering the consequences. The danger here is that you may run up debts if not careful. It is also very easy to jump to conclusions and make assumptions on the spur of the moment. Always consider your actions carefully and never let enthusiasm or determination be your sole guide.
Future trends: The Sign of Libra and the planet Venus now rule.
Your sense of justice an fair play will be a dominant factor in your financial dealings. You probably like harmonious and peaceful dealings but are not afraid to fight against injustice should you need to. In your financial affairs you try to be diplomatic and courteous and can be quite charming and amenable and people ought to warm to this and will feel at ease with you. They trust you. This sign also suggests that being in close contact on a one to one basis works best for you and may also indicate that you would do well working with someone in a partnership. Venus lies in your 7th House thereby strengthening what has just been said, and the closeness of Uranus to Venus suggests sudden changes that could be exciting and remunerative. I think it is a case of expect the unexpected.
The overall position seems to be that much of your financial dealings are connected to people you have to deal with in close connection - close friends, business and professional contacts, and more romantic partnerships. As there are no difficult aspect to Venus I wouldn’t expect any significant problems. However, money shared with others, or not directly your own, such as joint finances with a partner or borrowing, does have its problems and needs careful attention.

Normally these are associated with good fortune, but much depends on the aspects to Jupiter which are in this case mainly difficult. A fortunate aspect between Venus and Jupiter does suggest gains and occasional runs of good fortune. However, the remaining aspects suggest that there will be problems, some of which may be down to over optimism leading to mistakes being made. Also, being too easy going could lead to errors. Sagittarius often take the line of being generally amenable and helpful, even generous, but this could be taken advantage of by greedy opportunists. Be prudent at all times and take care not to overreach yourself.
Future trends: The Sign of Aries and the planet Mars now rule. Mars has two beneficial aspects causing quite different effects. Uranus can cause sudden changes, usually for the better, and exciting times. Saturn does exactly the opposite, tending to slow things down and introduce a note of caution. With Saturn and Uranus in opposition it is likely that there could be tense times and some differences of opinion with people you have to deal with. Mars, in this case, acts as a way out of the problem, probably by raising finances. In this instance all should work out well.
Now I must turn to an important issue. Both Jupiter and your Sun are in aspect to Pluto, suggesting major changes and lots of enthusiasm. As Pluto lies in your 4th House, this directly affects your home and domestic situation. The problem here is that both of these planets appear to give the green light to making fundamental changes of the kind you mention, with finances very much in the frame. All is not as it seems to be, and despite general optimism and the appearance of favourable conditions I would urge you to think very carefully about your proposed purchase due to the fact that the potential for hidden snags is very high. There is also the enthusiasm and emotional drive to consider because these may also mask reality. My advice would be to be very careful here. Check things out carefully. Don’t make assumptions - be certain. And, do try to keep your feelings out of the equation because they can override the critical thinking you need at this time.
This is a complex picture. Saturn aspects Pluto effectively putting on the brakes to domestic changes and associated finances. There is caution, perhaps over caution, along with fears and uncertainties. Yet this is not as bad as it feels or appears because this delaying action wil give you time to appraise matters and you will eventually find that Saturn has been trying to tell you something that will work to your advantage.
Relationships. [Close friends, business and professional contacts and partnerships, romantic associations]. Future trends: The Sign of Pisces and the planet Neptune now rule.
This indicates a willingness to make sacrifices for others and also the possibility that people will act kindly towards you. It is also a highly romantic Sign. Mercury lies close to Neptune, giving you a mind of broad perspective and vision. Your intuition is high and you use it well, preferring to depend on it rather than simple logic. Your imagination is your greatest asset, as is your capacity for inspired thought. In your aims, you are likely to be secretive and not given to revealing your full intentions. You seek to win by subtlety, although it has to be said that your intentions are honourable. This aspect gives you the ability to talk your way to success.
There are no less than three planets directly in your 7th House of close associations.
Uranus suggests that you are likely to encounter some downright awkward and irritating people whose antics and eccentricities will exasperate you. Sudden changes are likely to occur out of the blue and you need to be on your guard against acting on impulse or jumping to conclusions. Compromise may not always be possible, so don’t get involved. Despite this, you are able to get close to some people yet manage to remain detached and uninvolved. You can be a very good friend to know, but you can sometimes be a little detached.
Mixed aspects to Uranus suggest unusual and exciting times are highly likely, but there is also the chance of some tension and disruption. Expect the unexpected
Venus and Jupiter are close together, and this bodes well for certain associations, indicating fortunate associations with the potential for financial gains. As mentioned previously, care is needed if any of these associations are connected to making changes to your home or borrowing money.

You seem to need a close connection with people in order to make your work base satisfactory and fulfilling, so some form of partnership is likely or you may best function dealing with people on a one to one basis. Care is needed that any such arrangements are not one-sided to the extent that you are putting in more than is fair or reasonable. Your sense of fair play and justice is high and you would be inclined to seek diplomatic solutions to problems through compromise rather than have conflict. Again, you have to be careful not to run away from problems or let others use you for their own selfish reasons.
However, you may find that you are unhappy alone and that work isn't what it could be unless someone else is involved. The idea of compromise could be overemphasised so that you seek peace at any price rather than stand up for what you believe to be right. Decision making could also be something of a problem because you will tend to see both sides as being equally valid.
With Venus in your 11th House, dealing with people in general is favoured and you could make good use of your friendliness and popularity, which ought to be very good. Use your social contacts.

You are looking for change and perhaps more freedom to be yourself. You are also likely to take an independent path to success, preferring to do things your own way rather than follow convention. Anything that is different or unusual will also appeal, but there could be an interest in science or technology. Dealing with people and making use of social contacts seems likely.
On the downside, Uranus the planet ruling this Sign has some difficult aspects and this can cause problems. You may find that your work environment is suddenly disrupted by changes occurring suddenly and without warning, giving rise to tense conditions. You may be tempted to make changes yourself almost at the drop of a hat mainly due to a great deal of restlessness and a strong need for personal freedom. Encounters with awkward and unco-operative people is also likely from time to time. Always best to take stock of the situation before making important decisions. Acting purely on impulse or jumping to conclusions could aggravate matters. However, the aspects to Uranus are of a temporary nature, in other words they are of no account in the long term and will eventually dissipate leaving no ill effects. In the interim, slow down the pace, stay in control, and get a better perspective as a result. The whole thing is best viewed as a settling in period.
