 Good morning.

6th February 2007. Jenna.

As you can see, the site is undergoing changes and new material is being added as part of an ongoing program of improvements. The aim is to make this site as easy to use as possible and to add more information on all aspects of Astrology.

I am getting more complaints about fake Astrologer Jenna, in particular the fact that money is being taken for reports but nothing is being delivered. Not that the reports are of any use to you - they are simply cheap computer reports bearing little resemblance to the real thing, which is bad enough when you have been lead to believe that you are dealing with a genuine practitioner. However, taking money like this is fraudulent and it is virtually impossible to get your money back as many have found out. Be warned, and warn anyone who has any interest in Astrology to stay well clear of this person.

Fake Astrologer Jonathan Cainer continues to ignore Astrological principles and fly in the face of common sense with his continued assertion that a recently seen comet is truly 'auspicious'. It seems to me that everything in Cainer's interpretation of the world is wonderful, despite the fact that in the real world it plainly isn't. According to folk lore comets are omens of impending disasters and/or the fall from grace of world leaders. With climate change now accelerating, conflicts escalating, and certain politicians in deep trouble, perhaps he ought to watch the news occasionally.

7th February 2007. Celeb profile Natasha Kaplinsky.

Natasha Kaplinsky is arguably the most popular personality on British TV, but what lies behind the carefully groomed appearance? Astrology attempts to reveal some of the hidden nature of this amazing lady. Here.

9th February 2007.

Uranus transits can be powerful, often indicating sudden, unexpected events, some of which will be exciting, others disruptive. It all depends on the aspects being formed with planets in your birth chart. However, it is possible to give general indications using a special chart based on your Sun Sign. Of course this is not as accurate as your own chart but it does quite often result in accurate predictions. This is how Uranus is likely to effect you for the next year or so.

Aries. Sudden dramatic changes likely which prove to be important turning points and may lead to discoveries. Emotional tension. Need for independence high, may feel the need to break away and seek solitude.

Taurus. The need to socialise and make new contacts will be high. You may develop leadership qualities. Likely to encounter awkward or disruptive people. Very independent and sometimes too willful to conform.

Gemini. Ability to come up with new and highly original ideas could lead to advancement of aims and widespread popularity. Sudden changes in direction likely. May go out on a limb and upset those in authority.

Cancer. Intuition high. May develop interests in deeper matters or have to deal with legal issues. Likely to seek a widening of experiences, perhaps through learning of travel. Restlessness may cause impulsiveness.

Leo. High intuition and sudden flashes of insight. Sudden financial gains or disruption to finances. Impulsiveness could result in losses unless careful. Good leadership qualities but must not seek to control in a secretive or self-seeking manner or there could be  repercussions.

Virgo.  Unusual relationships or sudden, exciting encounters. Tries to find a balance between independence and closeness - may seek out a partner who is both loving and a friend. May also have to deal with awkward or disruptive individuals head on. Care needed not to act on impulse regarding other people or the result may not be satisfactory.

Libra. Seeks a work environment that allows independence and freedom of expression. Prefers something out of the ordinary at work. Could be very popular or may have to put up with aggravating people. Sudden changes likely at work. Tension could be a problem.

Scorpio. Unconventional love life with sudden, exciting attractions. May act impulsively and be locked into an unstable relationship unless careful. Does not like restraint and needs to go own way. Ability for brilliant, creative ideas.

Sagittarius. Seeks to make a home that reflects personality and so the decor may be unusual and out of the ordinary. Sudden changes in home or in the home environment. Not easy to settle into a routine.

Capricorn. Thinking likely to be unconventional and out of character but may come up with brilliant ideas. Intuition is high and there may be sudden flashes of insight. May decide to study something exciting or unusual. Mental strain if not careful. Needs to be careful about expressing opinions.

Aquarius.  Highly unorthodox approach to financial matters; can come up with brilliant ideas to make money. Sudden gains possible but needs to be careful not to act on impulse or there could be losses. Friends and social contacts could be a valuable aid in money-making projects, but there may be those who are bent on being stubborn and unyielding.

Pisces.  Actively seeks out social contacts and may meet exciting, new people, or may have to deal with those who are disposed to be awkward and are a source of irritation. Highly independent, seeks a constant supply of stimulating experiences and looks for excitement. May take a personal interest in unusual subjects or technology. Can be impulsive and erratic and may change direction suddenly and without warning.

12th February 2007. Psychic Museum closes.

May I take this opportunity to thank those of you who emailed saying how much they enjoyed the profile of Natasha Kaplinsky. I hope to make this a regular feature; my latest celebrity profile is for Kate Moss. See it here. If you would like to see a profile of your favourite celebrity please let me know and I will try to oblige.

In view of the fact that King of the Sun Sign Cowboys Jonathan Cainer attempts to convey to the public that he is an accomplished Astrologer, it seems quite strange he was unable to predict that his Psychic Museum has been forced to close due to lack of interest.

Cainer asserts he couldn't see this coming because he was 'too close to the problem'. Now while I accept that it is sometimes difficult for an Astrologer to be objective when examining his own chart, especially with future trends, the problem is usually one of trying to get an impartial interpretation. The trends, however, are easy to spot, providing that you use the correct methods, which Cainer appears not to do. For instance, he stated some time ago that Progressions [a symbolic method of measuring future trends] was of little use, despite the fact that genuine Astrologers are well aware of its ability to give accurate results. His own reports use only transits while ignoring Directions, Progressions, and even the vitally important Solar Return chart. Presumably he sees nothing wrong in this. He should also have cast a chart for the moment the project was launched as this can often provide insight into what might or might not happen later on. All this from a man who describes himself as 'The UK's leading Astrologer'. Oh dear...

A couple of points the newspapers have missed. Cainer has spent months trying to convince us that Cosmic Ordering could solve all our problems and bring in untold benefits. Now problems like this don't happen overnight so he should have seen it coming; why then didn't he follow his own advice and place a Cosmic Order? Simple - because it doesn't work! And, having set himself up as a Tarot reading expert who can help you solve your problems, why didn't he read his own cards? Answer; because he doesn't read the cards, a computer program does it for him. The more I hear about Jonathan Cainer, the more I am convinced he hasn't got a clue. 13th February 2007. Skywatch Latest:

Here we go again! If ever there was convincing evidence of the ability of Astrology to predict events this is it as once again Mercury goes into retrograde motion resulting in disruption to services across the world. For a fuller explanation please click here

15 February 2007.

My latest predictions for David Beckham are now online and can be seen here.

18th February 2007. That constellation misconception again.

The other day, following my curiosity I found myself on YouTube and after running a search on Astrology I came upon many videos ranging from the sensible to the idiotic, which is to be expected with the Internet. What really caught my attention was a video by Bill Nye who gave us his considered opinion on Astrology in a forthright manner. Sitting with feet on a table and with a smug grin on his face Bill showed me through the use of pretty graphics his version of Astrology and why it doesn't work. Having told me that his Sun Sign was Sagittarius he expected to see the Sun rise in the constellation of Sagittarius - note the word 'constellation' - but it didn't, it appeared to be in Scorpio instead. My, my, have we Astrologers got the whole thing wrong concluded Nye. 'Perhaps I have to be a Capricorn to have my Sun in Sagittarius', he said with an air of authority. More followed about the wobble in the Earth's axis and the precession of the equinoxes, ad nauseum.

This is so typical of scientific types who spend a great deal of time trying to ridicule  Astrology yet getting their facts completely wrong. What he and many other critics fail to take into account is that Astrologers do not use the constellations - we use the Zodiac, which is quite different. Furthermore it matters not one hoot that the precession has changed the zero point over the millennia. Let me give you an analogy.

If I have a bowl of fruit on a table, I can see the fruit, smell it, taste it, move it around, etc. If I now move the bowl to another place on the table, has anything changed? No, the fruit are exactly the same and so is my ability to interact with them. So it is with the Zodiac, which is a self-contained system. Now which is to to be Mr. Nye, are you going to admit your were wrong or are you going to carry on flattering your ego and ignoring the facts? I think we all know the answer.

19th February 2007.

Robbie Williams is back in the news as yet again he faces the problems of drug addiction and has to go into rehab. Can Astrology provide information as to the real problems that create this problematic cycle of events? Find out Here

20th February 2007.

Britney Spears is in the news again, this time for all the wrong reasons. Why did she suddenly shave off her hair? My examination of her chart reveals a possible answer. Here

27th February 2007. Saturn return?

There is an idea being circulated that when Saturn has completed its journey through the Zodiac and so returns to its birth position it is somehow highly significant. This is not how things work.

One of the first rules an Astrologer learns is that one should never try to interpret a planet in isolation - it is essential consider the whole chart. Given the plain fact that the transits of the outer planets are likely to override any Saturn effects it should warn Astrologers not to go down this route. Progressions, Directions and of course the Solar Return will also mask a Saturn return.

At best, all one can say is that Saturn will produce a weak background effect, and to imply otherwise is simply not true, so do forget about this supposedly 'new cycle' as it has no basis in fact. If events do take place they can so easily be explained by other means.
